Omran is aimed at academics specializing in the social sciences and other
interested readers in the Arab world and beyond. Omran aims to enrich
the sociological and anthropological debates between those in the field through
interrogation, the encouragement of critical thought, revisionism,
deconstruction, and synthesis. The journal also seeks to foster innovation and
the creation of questions from within, and aspires to be an essential source of
knowledge and indispensable in Arab and international universities and research
centers.
