Professor/Advisor in Economics at the Institute of National Planning in Cairo. He previously worked as representative of the Arabic Institute of Planning in Kuwait. His research interests are focused on the principles of economy, statistics, mathematical economics, econometrics and theories of development and planning. He obtained his PhD in Economics from Oxford University in 1969.​

Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at King Abdul Aziz University, Saudi Arabia. He is also a visiting professor at Cambridge University, the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris (EHESS) and the University of Wisconsin, USA. He obtained his PhD in Sociology and Anthropology in 1979 from the Wisconsin-Madison University, USA.

Professor of Higher Education and Director of the Sociology Department at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Tunis. He is a founding member of the Laboratory for Moroccan Studies and editor-in-chief of the Tunisian Journal of Social Science – Center for Social and Economic Studies in Tunisia. He is also a researcher in urban sociology and cultural sociology. 

Researcher specialized in human development. He is the Regional Advisor for the Sustainable Development Goals and Social Policies in ESCWA. He worked as advisor to the office of the UNDP in Beirut and Director of the capacity building project to reduce poverty affiliated to the UNDP. He holds a DEA in Sociology in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Law and in Philosophy from the Lebanese University branch in Tripoli. 

Professor of Political Science at Al Qadi Ayyad University, Marrakesh and Director of the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies. He is also member of the Scientific Council of the International Academy of Constitutional Law. Maliki is specialized in studies related to the World Bank and the UNDP. He contributed to writing the background papers of the Arab Human Development Report for the years 2004 and 2005.
