The ACRPS has published the 29th issue (Summer 2019) of its quarterly peer-reviewed journal Omran, dedicated to the social sciences. This edition contains the following studies: "Experimentation between Psychology and Neuroscience: One Paradigm, Various Techniques, and Similar Results" by Benaissa Zarhbouch; "Macro-Micro: On The Necessity of Explaining the Mechanisms of Transition between the Micro and the Macro" by Ali Jafry; "The Intentional Explanation of Social Behaviour and the Conditions of its Credibility" by Hassane Hjij; "The Intentional Explanation of Social Behaviour and the Conditions of its Credibility" by Mahjouba Kaoukaou; and "The Positioning of Geography between Natural and Social Sciences: Which Methodology for Which Topic?" by El Hassane EL Mahdad, Rkia Ait Ouaziz, Mohamed Jadaoui, Lakbir Ouhajou, M'barek Bouzalim.

The issue also includes a discussion of "Islam in the thought of the Tunisian sociologist Abdel Wahab Bouhediba and his book Islam: Openness and Transcendence (Islām Infitāḥ wa Tajāwuz)" by Abdellatif Hermassi. Abdel-Fattah Mady offers a review of Militarizing the Nation: The Army, Business, and Revolution in Egypt by Zeinab Abul-Magd, while Ihab Maharmeh reviews of Networks of Outrage and Hope: Social Movements in the Internet Age by Manuel Castells; Shaymaa Shehab reviews of The Human Right to Dominate/ Nicola Perugini, Neve Gordon.
