The sample used consists of 110 heads of academic departments working in Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip. The results shows a statistically significant correlation between the degree of application of a human talent management strategy and the achievement of research excellence; between the degree of application of a human talent management strategy and the creation of a knowledge society; and between the creation of a knowledge society and the achievement of research excellence.
