Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. Lahmar is a researcher specialized in rural sociology and political leadership. He obtained a PhD in Rural Sociology from the School of Advanced Social Science Studies, Paris and a PhD in Political Sciences from the University of Tunis.
Omran is a quarterly, peer reviewed academic journal dedicated to the social sciences and published by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. First published in the summer of 2012.
